Our History

The Shree Dakshinmukhaya Hanuman Mandir has stood as a pillar of faith for decades. Originally established as a small shrine by devout followers of Lord Hanuman, it has grown into a significant spiritual center for the community. The temple's foundation is built on the unwavering devotion of its countless visitors who have found solace and strength within these walls.

The Dakshinmukhaya Form

Lord Hanuman is worshipped here in his rare and powerful Dakshinmukhaya (South-facing) form. In Hindu scriptures, the South direction is associated with Yama (the God of Death). Lord Hanuman facing South symbolizes his power to protect devotees from death, fear, and evil forces. It is believed that worshipping this form grants liberation from fear and brings immense strength.

Devotees flock to the temple specifically to seek protection from negative energies and to overcome difficult obstacles in their lives.

Architecture & Atmosphere

The temple reflects traditional Indian temple architecture, designed to create a vibrational space conducive to meditation and prayer. The main sanctum (Garbhagriha) houses the deity, while the outer halls provide space for congregational chanting and festivals.
